In a court case, when witnesses seem to disagree on what they saw, a wise lawyer doesn’t discount them as liars. Rather, he sees where they can harmonize so that he can see the complete picture.

Despite cut and paste silliness from atheist websites, the four gospel writers harmonize perfectly. However, if you don't want them to, they won't. You will be like a rebellious child who deliberately picks up a wrong piece of a jigsaw pizzle, and when it doesn't fit, he throws a fit.
