The Archive — as superlative, as pure excess and potenality —remains absolutely beyond the living. If what is a Subject is conditioned by being in time, then the archive lies outside the constraints of temporality, while still allied with process, change, and dynamic proliferation. Thus applying the concepts of the living to archive does not apply. just a thought.
